Mylo Smith is a nationally recognized comedian, motivational speaker, and event emcee from the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe (Crow Creek-Dakota) in South Dakota. Raised by his grandmother in Wakpala and on the Crow Creek Reservation, Smith overcame a challenging childhood — growing up around alcohol and drug abuse, with a mother in prison and a father he never knew — and turned his pain into laughter. He started doing stand-up over 15 years ago as an opening act and developed into a nationally touring headliner, placing 3rd in a Hollywood "Up and Coming Stars of Tomorrow" comedy contest. Smith performs at tribal casinos, conferences, colleges, and comedy clubs across the country, bringing a style rooted in reservation life, family, sobriety, and resilience. Beyond comedy, he is a powerful motivational speaker who shares his story of overcoming adversity to inspire Native youth.
