Meredith Schramm is a member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and an author, educator, and advocate for Native youth. She authored "Native American Lesson Plans: A Look into Natives Today," a comprehensive K-12 curriculum resource designed to teach students about contemporary Native American life beyond the stereotypes. Written from her perspective as an enrolled tribal member and certified teacher, the book includes 14 full lesson plans with culturally accurate content. Schramm graduated from Brigham Young University in 2005 with an education degree and serves as a Native American advisor with the Provo City School District in Utah, where she supports approximately 200 Native students. She is a Running Strong Dreamstarter Teacher and is dedicated to ensuring Native children see themselves reflected in their education.
